Description
Solution
The supply cain visibility evidence on parts, components/products with transition being traced from manufacturer to final levels. This is identified by CIPS (2021c) as leading to an improvement and strengthened supply chain by ensuring availability of data for assuring stakeholders relations with all customers. For Oxy organisation, albeit of the disruption of supply chain network by COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent economic downturn, their visibility remains high. The importance of this is that organisation perceive their entire supply chain as extended personalised services provision and making sure there is an engagement of entire service partners.
To analyse the supply chain networks, Oxy pursue strategies as summarised in figure 5;
Figure 5:Supply Chain Analysis Methods
Descriptive Analysis
In line with Lahane et al. (2020), this strategy is applied in identifying the occurrences today. In Oxy organisation, this include analysing level of inventory investment, customer service scope and filling rates and average suppliers lead-levels. The importance of application of the statistics is maintaining trace of entire practices while evidencing changes with time. In line with figure 6 summary, the HSE and Safety spend category in Oxy organisation, through an embrace of descriptive analysis, an accurate corporate data is sourced and presented in a statistical manner.

Business reports, finances, customers social engagement and surveys are identified as relevant for Oxy organisation. According to Belaud et al. (2019), the importance of this is Oxy organisation achieving the potential of acquiring relevant insights in their business practice. This is with trends and strengths and weak areas noted. For determining these performance indicators, supply chain analysis is as summarised in figure 7;

Predictive Analysis
With Oman Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030 approaches, energy demands rise. Also, Oxy make sure sequential growth is achieved with forecast of demand guiding their performance. From the COVID-19 pandemic times, the analysis has been categorised into different products (installations, energies), locations (Oman, UAE) and clients (different households). In line with Al-Sarihi and Mansouri (2022) findings, the relevance of tracking production, customers and raw materials in sourcing is to harness demand. The performance metrics are applied in the organisation for harnessing product demands, seasonal and changes in regimes. This is at the same time ensuring operation costs are integrated successfully.
The result obtained from Oxy Supply chain is to gain relevant results to identify, assess and manage entire risks. This is while embracing CIPS (2021d) recommendation of applying CIPS Risk and Resilience Assessment Model which identify the risks and assume relevant phases to manage them (see figure 8);
