Corporate
The corporate organisation structure is identified in Javeed and Lefen (2019) as a situation where different departments and business units operating collaboratively. For HWE, corporate structure is made of NHS Minister, CEO, commercial teams and logistics manager. Hence, this organisation structure is aligned to the supply chain structure and corporate structure. Considering HWE corporate strategy of ensuring costs savings in facilitating NHS operations, their corporate strategy is supposed to be mirroring the strategy. Also, with multiple stakeholders working with HWE, this structure also enhance their relations. This directly influence the need to ensure supply chain is beneficial to alignment of the structure.
Business
Considering HWE organisation, this structure is found influencing competitiveness of the organisation for leveraging on competitive advantage and dominating UK healthcare procurement process. From the CIPS Module Notes, corporate strategy impact on business is identified through a focus on both internal and external business environment successfully. In line with Kraus et al. (2020), the corporate strategy influence the business operations in HWE evidenced by application of Red and Blue Ocean Strategies (Islami et al., 2020);

In figure 3 illustration, HWE follows Blue Ocean strategy essential for enabling corporate strategy inclusive of development of undisputed workplace different from the available business environment. This is at the same time developing and including fresh demands and break the value-costs and trade-offs. The strengths of this process is failure in exploiting the prevalent demands and competition in their business area.
Functional
