Aims and Objectives
By working on this project, the intention is to understand on the impact of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the procurement activities in Oman LNG LLC. The effectiveness of generative AI in assisting the organisation to implement procurement activities to source products and service es in right time, place and product would be put into consideration. The scope in which generative AI has been integrated as part of the organisation modernisation of their activities would be put into account. Other benefits would include;
- Ensuring all their tenders and contract documents would be digitised by the PS&M teams and also the IT department in Oman LNG LLC
- Since the suppliers-buyer relationship is not at its best, generative AI would increase their relations
- The problem with spend analysis would be managed by including the application of digitised systems facilitated by Generative AI
- The PS&M through collaboration with other expects would ensure an effective demand forecasting and automated bidding is efficiently implemented
Proposed Structure
- In entirety, for this assignment, it could be structured through sections of executive summary, introduction, body of the report, conclusions, recommendations and references.
- Also, the works cited and appendices would also be provided. Appendix-1 will include the list of questionnaire questions, and Appendix-2 will showcase the summary of questionnaire responses as evidence. Appendix-3 will include the list interview questions, and Appendix-4 will have the summary responses to the interview questions theme wise.
Method to be Employed
- The secondary research will similarly be applied to establish the most appropriate strategy intended to mitigate the different risks encountered in eProcurement. This entail products swapping and joints strategies to venture in long-term based relations in the procurement strategy.
Sources of Information
This would include desk research interviews, questionnaires, external suppliers data, websites, partnerships, journal articles, publications and informal engagement of the different colleagues and partners.
Reasons for Selecting this Topic
By implementing the eProcurement strategies, this would play a role as a e-gateway to commercial business approaches. This is through harnessing engagement of called-upon bidders, interaction and responses to tendering process in Oman LNG LLC.
