In the modern research, there is a very high likelihood of experiencing research ethics issues (CIPD, 2019). This inform the rationale of coming up with effective strategies for management of these research ethics. According to CIPD (2019), the different ethical areas which must be considered would entail;
Respondents signing an ethical approval form when data is collected from them- In a research, as evidenced in Hesse et al. (2019), it is a requirement to sign the ethical approval and also the consent. This is while detailing on the ethics committee names which has been approved for the study and their reference details if need be. For instance, for the various participants in the research, they would be called upon to sign a consent of taking part in the study. Also, the respondents data would be held with high-level confidentiality with the researcher making sure that the data is in a direct link and applying it appropriately. Reassurance that names would not appear in the report without their approval- For the different respondents who would be included in this research, their names or any other identifier would not be disclosed to third parties. This is for ensuring that the results does not link direct to specific employees operations. A commitment not to share personal data without agreement- Personal data generated by the employees would not be disclosed to the third parties. This is unless the employees offer a disclaimer of offering the personal employee information. The data would need to be stored for a long period of time hence assurance of its safety. Securing data storage provisions– According to Hesse et al. (2019) the research ethics include the standards of carrying out scientific research. The data sourced from the respondents would be safely be stored in a lock and key. The files where the data would be stored would be safely protected with a password. - In conclusion, this assessment has focused on developing an evaluation of the contractual terms and impact on power distribution in Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and risk of supplier and organisation has been evaluated.
- A general contract used in ADNOC purchasing of goods has been used for achieving the aim of this assessment. Also, desk research and statistics have been used for the purpose of generating the expected findings.
- The findings indicate that the terms and conditions clearly stipulate on risks and power distribution between ADNOC and their suppliers of the gas turbines. This has been identified by application of various tools and models relevant for this assessment.
