| Short-Listing Decisions
This include details of the different applicants in areas of qualification, appropriateness to occupy the role informed by job description and rationale for their shortlist/rejected (Davidson Morris, 2020). Shortlisting records are important for enhancing transparent and merit-based selection. The records are hence maintained as they are important for fair-based practice and justification of selection or rejection. Interview Notes For the different candidates, detailed notes with a summary of question answers, indicting competency level, strengths and improvement areas are highlighted (Indeed Career Guide, 2023). The no-verbal cues and panel team members feedback and entire impression is passed through a documentation. These notes improve authenticity of selection of the candidates and outcomes relevance. Selection Test scores For skills/aptitude tests which are carried out in selection they are supposed to be maintained (Rina, 2020). A case example is numerical and verbal tests are provided with scoring and pass criteria recorded.
