Evaluation Forms
This is inclusive of questionnaires for collecting prompt feedback from players immediately after a specific learning activity. As evidenced in Go2itech (2019), assessing satisfaction levels and perceived knowledge or skills gain is essential. Forms are standard with close-ended questions for prompt answers. Rating scales and also open-based comments are a common issue. The forms are less costly and easily administered and analysed in a statistical manner. Limitations entail a superficial and lack of ability of gauging sustainable implications.
Surveys
These are used in assessing learning-based outcomes in a sustained amount of time mostly every week or monthly. The questions which are posed are meant for gauging on-the-job behavioural change and tangible-based gains. The surveys apply an open-ended questions for generating rich/holistic qualitative data in regard to strengths and their weakness. The surveys are appropriate to evaluate coaching process, mentor others and leadership initiatives intended to lead to complex-based transformation results. Lagging in regard to time evidence sustainability as opposed to temporally change. Their disadvantages entail biasness and lack of capacity for isolation of variables in an event other factors impact on results.
For both evaluation forms and surveys, they are appropriate for getting prompt feedback and holistic analysis for long-term based implication. Integration of the two methods offer an appropriate and holistic context of intervention of learning programs for understanding reaction, application and appropriate organisation value.
