Learning Needs to Individuals (Sales Assistant Role)
Training on a new technology– With Clean Quarter expanding their operations and holistically leveraging on online-based operations, the Sales Assistants would require capacity development on e-commerce technologies and platforms. They are supposed to pursue learning on effectiveness in listing and market products in an online products, processing all orders and offering clients services in a virtual manner (Richardson, 2024). Learning on Sales Techniques– For increasing the overall sales, they need to be mentored and coached on best-selling skills including posing appropriate questions for appreciating client’s needs, evidencing product benefits and close sales. Being a new business, Clean Quarter would encounter issues in their position as a sales assistants lacking e-Commerce and retail-based skills. Transition to their online platform and to drive sales would demand training employees on new technology system and holistic selling practices. Learning Needs to Organisation (Clean Quarter) Knowledge on Updated/modern green legislation– There are recently set laws intended to lower plastic use locally and internationally. Hence, Clean Quarter need capacity development programs for enhancing awareness to guarantee all parties compliance legally and allowing sales assistants to give appropriate advice to their clients. With zero capacity development opportunity, the assistants could give incorrect data/information. Training on newly implemented online technology– With Clean Quarter looking to initiate an e-commerce platform for sustainable online business practice, L&D in this area is essential. This is with the staff offered with L&D opportunities for use of software in listing and marketing items, orders processing and offering clients support in the online platform.
