Description
Solution
For this project, survey questionnaire was used as the instrument for collecting data. To ensure this study is high-level quality, integration of past validated scales included in main study variables would be relevant. This is as noted in the peer-reviewed journals. The dependent variables of the current research are the employees turnover and best practice of their mitigation. This is while evaluating impacts on organisation performance and profitability.
3.2.1 Analysis of Online Questionnaires
For success of analysis of the online questionnaires, 5 main stages were followed. For the first stage, demographical characteristic of the data was identified. This was informed on the frequency analysis process. Description of the respondents was important to understand if there were any conspicuous characteristic in the data which would demand more investigations. Considering the large population of the organisation, a total of 53 employees formed the respondents who were targeted for providing the survey data used in this research. Considering this study sample, most of them at 57.1% were male with 42.9% of this being female. Most of the employees were of age 26-45 years which represent 81% distributed in an equal format informed by their age differences.
Additionally, taking into account of the demographics data, they highlight that their functions in the organisation has been for a long period of time. This was approximately 74% more than half of 59% who had highlighted working in the organisation for different timelines. Further, approximately 20% had noted as having worked in the organisation for a period of 2-5 years. The summary of the analysis of respondents demographic data is as illustrated in table 1;

3.2.1.1 Determining existence of Turnover in the Organisation
After identifying the entire data outlook, an analysis was performed by the researcher for fulfilling the research objectives. The first objective was to identify existence of turnover in the organisation. The questions related to this objective were open-ended which means the researcher was prompted to apply a method of rating the responses and comparison of the most agreed. The multiple response analysis was identified as the best practice (Jebb et al., 2021).
Apart from just giving ranks of the different responses, the researcher noted it as important to establish if the turnover has any implication on the employees performance and eventual organisation profitability. Measuring of mean values was noted to be the best approach to test their relationships. The analysis identified the variables as being independent.
3.2.1.2 People practice strategies adopted for supporting effective turnover management strategies
To establish these strategies, the researcher used Pearson correlation analysis. According to Persolia et al. (2020), the importance of using Pearson’s correlation coefficient is measuring strength of linear association of both variables. This is by establishing if there exist a linear component of employees turnover and profitability and performance. With the Chi-Square analysis pursued to select most appropriate strategy to identify the relations with categorical variables, appropriate insights were sourced. The p-Value is significant while null hypothesis was rejected since researcher inferred demographic variables and criteria adopted.
3.2.1.3 Almarai Perceptions on Turnover
Also, to successfully identify the best strategies of managing increased turnover levels, this project focused on evaluating the perceptions of the employees on turnover cases. This was achieved through the application of linear regression analysis. To be able to integrate the independent variables, lineal link of employees turnover with productivity and profitability was noted.

- In summary, this assignment has focused on evaluating the source of power and risk of an organisation contractual terms. This has been conducted through the focus of SSMC organisation which is currently being engaged in procurement of first aid materials.
- Through a series of analysis, the power and risk distribution has been evidenced as varying in different phenomenon to SSMC and their engaged suppliers. The rationale of this is that for the success of a contract, the legal provisions are critical among the involved parties with clearly set requirements to be adhered to or abstained.
- By using different tools including supplier preferencing matrix, Porter’s 5 forces and Turn-key model have been adopted for this research.
- It has been established that in most instances, SSMC has the power with majority of the risks being held by the supplier. An evaluation of the different components of the contract has been conducted with the clauses of interest including costs, quality level, time for delivery and ethics which influence the power and risk of the suppliers.
- From the analysis of stakeholders by use of the Mendelow stakeholder’s matrix and SWOT analysis, the various issues and risks represent the noted issues in procurement of the fast aid and safety measures in today COVID-19 pandemic.
- As evidenced in the Kraljic analysis, various contract terms are of strategic relevance to SSMC which affirm on its approach of holistically leveraging on contractual risk and power.
- Where the SSMC lacks a holistic balance on the risks and power, a warrant or insurance is granted for guaranteeing their safety.
