Table 1: Recommendation
Based on table 1 data, a major recommendation needs to include investment in Learning and Development (L&D) initiative in the different departments. This is particularly in the R&D departments with “good practice hubs” being pursued. The best practice would be informed by improved L&D strategy and capacity development in all organisation departments (REF). The benefits of recommendation entail an increase in overall organisation efficiency and staff morale. This is since multiple employees would have qualified in being provided with bonus payments due to high score for right skills acquisition. The risks include disagreements as the employees would assume a feel of being superior with competitiveness escalating as opposed to promotion opportunities. The direct costs would be incurred to facilitate training sessions, procuring learning materials used and rewarding of the providers of L&D opportunities. Table 2 Recommendation Implementation of a well-structured training program targeting the line managers for improving their skills in delivering feedback, performance appraisals and underperformance management. According to CIPD (2023), this is while enhancing clear policies for performance management strategy. The benefits of the recommendation include increased efficiencies and contented in their work environment since line managers acquire an increased self-assurance to lecture subordinates and evaluate performance in a well organised approach (CIPD, 2024c). The costs include being incurred to document all operations in training program implementation, recruiting new professionals and partnering with different learning institutions.
