Explanation: I understand that collaborating across geographic, cultural, and professional boundaries can be challenging, yet incredibly rewarding same as mentioned in Bender (2022). Through collaboration, I have come to understand the valuable perspectives and knowledge that each individual brings to the table based on Page (2019). By embracing differences, I need to learn how collective intelligence can be more powerful than any one individual’s. Collaboration can teach me to respect the value of different cultures, locations, and professions, and to value the unique contributions that each person brings Murrell, Petrie-Wyman, & Soudi, 2019) that is very interesting to learn. |
Development objectives | I need to:
1. Improve my understanding of different cultures, beliefs and values and incorporate this into my work. 2. Actively seek out opportunities to collaborate and work with people from diverse backgrounds. 3. Understand effective communication and conflict resolution skills to ensure successful collaboration. 4.
