In interacting with my colleagues in my organisation, I receive positive feedback in regard to my ability to engage all being critical in my practice, ensuring all considerations are balanced and a fair-based practice. I am in a position of understanding each individual characteristic, interacting and sharing ideas. The skills used in supporting my strategy in inclusivity include ability to listen, communicate and questioning skills. In implementation of group discussions, I share invitations to all people in sharing opinions, idea sharing and timely feedback offered. In my active practice working in my organisation, the Head of people practice is engaged in C-Suite for discussing main areas which impact individuals and organisations. The function of HR business partnering is working collaboratively with leadership and management for providing insights which are essential for improving sustainability (CIPD, 2023).

For this module “Global Strategic Supply Chain Management”, assessment, a business report which evaluate global strategic approach for management of organisation supply chain has been developed.
This has been achieved by evaluating impact of market changes on supply chain, sustainable global sourcing decisions, strategic logistical implications of globalisations, and impact of supply chain management on corporate performance.
The organisation of focus is Hertfordshire and West Essex (H&WE) NHS Procurement Services with provision of laptops and computers hardware for entire 5 trusts category of spend.
Key findings have been obtained in this report based on analysed data, desk research, facts and CIPS Models and tools (Porter’s 5 Forces, SWOT and STEEPLED analysis and more). One of the main findings is that H&WE does not have a structured supply chain. This is despite of existence of several tiers in the sourcing process of laptops and computers hardware.
Another finding is that different factors including social, technology, economy, environment, politics, legal and demographics impact supply chain of H&WE. For sustainable global sourcing decisions, the key findings indicate H&WE as prioritising on 3P’s triple bottom-line of procurement. This is by focusing on Profit, Planet and People.
The strategic logistical implications of globalisation main findings include different strategic considerations, logistical risks and opportunities.
The final key findings is that supply chain management has a direct implication on corporate performance.
From the conclusions of this report, a set of recommendations have been generated which include;
- For supply chain sustainable development, include collaboration, networks improvement and innovativeness
- PS&M in H&WE facilitate L&D opportunities for enhancing ability for supply chain development process
- Improve all stakeholders relations in supply chain for management of different conflicts in their operations
- To develop a well-structured supply chain which is currently lacking in H&WE for management of supply chain risks and performance level challenges
(Solution) CIPS FIDIC Contracts Advanced Practitioner Corporate Award (APCE)
- In this report, an evaluation of a contract by Oracle which is FIDIC guiding their construction projects in more than 67 countries globally has been carried out.
- It is evident from the analysis that there are varying contractual terms having an influence on the power and risk distribution between a supplier and an organisation.
- The rationale of this is that a contract is a legally enforceable agreement between different parties with specific acts or practices to be put into account.
- The core report areas of focus of focus has included the issues of price, quality, construction projects delivery timeline and health and safety have been put into account on the extent in which the risk and power are distributed between the contractor and the organisations.
- In the components identified, it is evident that irrespective of whether the buyer or supplier executes the risk or power.
- Through the application of different tools such as Mendelow stakeholders matrix, SWOT analysis and others, distinct issues and risks characterised by various challenges in the construction projects execution with their mitigation approaches and risks have been evidenced.
- As evidenced from the Kraljic analysis, it is evident that contractual terms have a strategic relevance in the context of Oracle informing on their holistic leveraging on the risks and powers of the contract.
- In situations where Oracle fails in leveraging on contract holistic risks power balance, warrant and also insurance cover is used.

(Solution) CIPS Category Plan Implementation, Challenges Faced and Solutions
- In this report, a category plan for Oracle in office materials category of spend has been developed.
- Category planning has been noted to be a practice where category plans are established aligned with clients business objectives strategically to maximise value, risk reduction, and supply of goods and/or services effective management.
- Therefore, the Oracle category plan is in tandem with retail and business portfolio objectives to advance clients' needs. The process is applicable in enhancing value maximisation, reducing risks, and goods and services supply management.
- The applied data inform this assessment findings obtained using techniques such as Kraljic Matrix, Market Structure, PORTER’s 5, and SWOT analysis.
- Further, existing data focusing on insights of market competition and TCO is successfully analysed.
- Eventually, a successful category plan implementation has been developed, identifying challenges and approaches for mitigating the difficulties identified.
