In interacting with my colleagues in my organisation, I receive positive feedback in regard to my ability to engage all being critical in my practice, ensuring all considerations are balanced and a fair-based practice. I am in a position of understanding each individual characteristic, interacting and sharing ideas. The skills used in supporting my strategy in inclusivity include ability to listen, communicate and questioning skills. In implementation of group discussions, I share invitations to all people in sharing opinions, idea sharing and timely feedback offered. In my active practice working in my organisation, the Head of people practice is engaged in C-Suite for discussing main areas which impact individuals and organisations. The function of HR business partnering is working collaboratively with leadership and management for providing insights which are essential for improving sustainability (CIPD, 2023).

This business report has been prepared to evaluate the global strategic approach to managing organisation supply chain. The organisation of focus is Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) operating in United Arab Emirates (UAE) oil and gas sector. In this highly competitive business environment, management of the supply chain is instrumental.
To achieve the intended aim of this report, the area of focus in evaluation included impact of market changes on the supply chain, sustainable global sourcing decisions, strategic logistical implications of globalisations and impact of supply chain management on corporate performance.
This has been enabled by referencing on various CIPS module notes models including SWOT, STEEPLED, Mendelow Matrix, Kraljic Matrix and Porter’s 5 Forces among others. Further, apart from the desk research available in ADNOC, secondary research has similarly been pursued.
The findings in this report evidence that market changes impact on the supply chain are influenced by the internal and external factors in the business environment.
Also, the findings indicate that sustainable global sourcing decisions impact the social, ethical and environment performance in selection of their suppliers. For ADNOC, priority is given to corporate social responsibility, responsible procurement and environment procurement. The strategical logistical implications of globalisation have been linked to inventory holdings, international logistics strategies, extending transport pipeline and multi-modal transportation.
From the findings in this business report, various gaps have been identified which can be managed through implementation of the following recommendations;
- Invest in collaboration, networking and technology for sustainable supply chain
- Improving supply chain development by providing capacity development for PS&M teams
- Holistic inclusion of stakeholders in conflicts management
- To include all tiers of supply chain for success in globalisation to manage all risks and performance challenges

Executive Summary
The significance of the set of terms and conditions chosen from XXX organisation has been assessed in relation to its impact on the organisation. This pertains to the domains of potential hazards related to subpar quality, time delays, escalated expenses, and unethical conduct in effective administration. In addition, the monitoring and administration of essential performance measures have been taken into consideration by utilising the selected terms and conditions. The terms and conditions can be found in appendix 1 of this report. Ultimately, the concept of "battle of the forms" has been chosen as the most effective approach to reaching a mutual agreement that aligns with an organisation's own terms and conditions. The terms and conditions selected in XXX are utilised in the General Conditions of Purchase, which are standardised T&Cs employed in procuring services for the organization. This applies regardless of the quantity of resources utilised in the order, the associated risks, and the specific requirements.
The findings in this report demonstrate that their terms and conditions are successful in guaranteeing the provision of high-quality services to XXX. This involves improving the supply process in a timely manner while ensuring that ethical considerations are properly addressed. An optimal approach also includes utilising these terms and conditions to address performance concerns and assess progress. In order to address the issue of conflicting terms and conditions in the "battle of the forms," the terms and conditions of various suppliers are compared and analysed beforehand to ensure that they are aligned and consistent. In order to fulfill the desired objective of the report, many analytical methods such as the Mendelow Matrix, risk register, contract management cycle, and assessment of the value and impact of vulnerability and risks were employed, following the guidance provided by the CIPS Module Notes.
Based on the results and conclusions, several recommendations might be derived. These include:
- Expand the terms and conditions by adding additional clauses to make them more comprehensive.
- Verify that the suppliers selected have prior experience in providing comparable services to prevent battle of the forms.
- Include provisions in the terms and conditions that align with relevant KSA legislations to enhance their applicability.
- Conduct a benchmark analysis on top-performing organisations in the oil and energy industry in the KSA to enhance their terms and conditions
- Enhance the expertise of the PS&M teams to effectively manage the terms and conditions without encountering significant difficulties.

- This report has focused on evaluating Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) contract terms and conditions.
- The area of focus in the contract entail its relevance in assisting the management of issues associated with quality, risk of time extension, risk of costs increase and unethical practices impacting the stakeholders.
- Other than this, the performance measures and management in the organisation operations has been put into account.
- For achieving this, RCU operating in the KSA tourism and culture sector has put into account.
- The contract selected is used in most of the services which are sourced by the organisation from different suppliers. This is to define the level of risk and power that each has in the contract implementation.
- Despite of existence of areas of improvement, clauses lacking detail and lack of sufficient protection, the contract terms and conditions are relevant for RCU operations.
- For all the parties and stakeholders involved in a contract implementation, there is a clear risk allocation and management. This is with the performance being measured and monitored based on their interests.
- There is a need for investing in modernised approaches intended to protect the organisation from the battle of the forms.
